The Fluid Genome adapts to the environment, we cannot separate out the environmental and genetic influences. The biotech industry has now a high failure rate and what they create is not stable and they have kept this information from the public. Geneticist known for her critical views on genetic engineering. Ho has authored or co-authored a number of publications, including 10 books, such as: The Rainbow & the Worm, the Physics of Organisms, Genetic Engineering: Dream or Nightmare?, & Living with the Fluid Genome (2003). She is the director of The Institute of Science in Society (ISIS), an interest group that campaigns against what it sees as unethical uses of biotechnology.
